Wierd textures, how do i fix?

I am a noob programmer, and noob 3d modeler. so i made a model in blender, and was planning on texturing it in unity. but when i add my texture, along the curves of the object the texture stretches. its normal on some surfaces. but then goes all wierd on others. how do i fix?

You need to learn about the topic “UV Unwrapping”, and create UV maps for your models. In many ways this can be done fairly automatically in the 3D Modelling program you’re using.

would i just search up a turtorial online for that?

Substance painter has auto uv unwrapping
Blender has “smart uv project”

Both are “good enough” for almost all use cases
Or you could manually unwrap it but that requires many months of practice to get good at

For complex geometry, maybe. The kind of UVs this geometry requires are basically the sort of thing you’d learn in lesson 2 of any UV unwrapping tutorial.
