Wii graphic specs

I am aware that the Wii is not, by any means, a graphical power house. What I am wondering is if there is a rough estimate as to how much we can have on screen / in memory at any given time?

Our Technical Lead mentioned that in a call with UT it was mentioned that the spec guidelines for the Wii are similar to that of iPhone but I would like to know if anyone has a better readout than that.

How many verts & tris are we looking at for a limit? How much memory do we have to play with for textures?

Any ball-park / round-abouts estimate would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

According to WiiNside, the Wii has a 2mb framebuffer and a 1mb texture cache.

There doesn't seem to be a credible reference regarding polygon rates, but some sources report "between 60/75 million polygons per sec".

Whereas the iPhone 3GS's PowerVR SGX, according to AnandTech, handles about 7 million triangles per second.
