Yes.

Look at all the licensing changes over the past few years, and there has been a pattern. Cheaper and better options for small users. A push towards increasing services. And a shift away from perpetual licenses towards subscriptions.

There are no indications that this pattern will change.

There’s no indication this pattern will change, but it’s still something I find myself worrying about. I’m still feeling the effects of trying to make a game without any image effects or render textures.

With the current features offered by the competition it would be rather foolish to suddenly gimp the personal edition.
