CUDA is a great tool for complex calculations in real time. CUDA can be connected to Unity by means of dll files, but the Integration in this manner is inaccessible to ordinary users. Furthermore CUDA uses C and C ++, and the Unity C#, js and Boo. It would be more convenient to program in Unity languages, that is why the integration is more preferably.
With Unity pro you already have ComputeShaders. In the end Unity is actually a game engine. Of course it can be used for whatever you can imagine, but don’t expect that every exotic technology will be integrated, especially not in the indy version.
It would be amazing to see. It would let us parallelize SO much easier!
It’s not super complicated or “exotic”.
Seriously I need this. Please give the people what they want.
