Hello, I don’t know if anyone else is having this issue in Unity 2.5 for Windows but when I try to save a shader file after editing it, it simply doesn’t save it! I simply hit the save icon at the menu bar.Is this a Windows version problem or am I doing something wrong? :?
How “it does not save it”?
It saves shaders perfectly for me. I hit the Save icon (or menu, or shortcut), the Save icon gets disabled, the shader in Unity changes.
How exactly it does not work for you?
Thanks for the reply! When I hit the save icon or go to the menu and save it from there, when I close it and then reopen it, the shader code doesn’t get saved and gives me the old code. Meanwhile I found that going to the menu and using save as, the code gets saved!
When I tried to fix this, I experimented doing this with WordPad and then every time I want to edit code it opens WordPad, how can I set it to open with the software Unity’s using by default?
