Every time I start Unity using Win7 I get the dreaded error “Unity Editor has stopped working” – it never started!! This is the latest version from the download link. I am running Win7 64bit.

Make sure it is running as admin. If you still have no luck, try running it in compatibility mode with XP or something. If it doesn’t work after that, try reinstalling it.
