Windows 10 (compatibility Windows 8) Unity 5.3.6p7 Launcher freezes at Sign-in

Hi.
Basically I have Unity 5.3.6p7 on a Windows 10 with updated graphic driver (everything else is also up to date).
Downloaded 5.3.6p7 and once I try to sign in in the launcher (the put e-mail and password part), once I press sign-in, the progress bar on the top part moves but noting happens.

I have so far tried clicking the sign-in button a few times (then the launcher quits)
Uninstall-> Reinstall
run as Admin
Restart computer

nothing has worked so far.
I can provide more information as needed.

Try starting Unity in offline mode (don’t sign in or enter licence at the first launch screen). You can enter your licence info in the Help tab once Unity is open with a project.

The other thing you can try is deleting pre-existing preferences that may be causing the issue. They are located in:

  • Windows: C:\ProgramData\Unity
  • Mac: Library/Application Support/Unity
