Windows buggus behavior

Ok, so we are now testing a little game on both plataforms, mac and pc…

The player on mac is flawless, but in windows we are getting some “crystal” like meshes. It seems that the level of detail on pc plataform is much more aggresive, it completly unloads the textures from our meshes and boom! we have buildings and cars made of ice! (you can see through them).

Just for curiosity, have you bumped with this problem? how did you fixed?

have an excellent day guys.

Could you post screenshots or a webplayer which people could test and compare results?

im not allowed yet to upload the game on a public address but, these are some pictures where you can see the problem. on mac we dont have problems, but the game running on windows show these crystal like objects.

please help me out, i havent got any answer :frowning:

Have you tried fooling around with different materials and/or shaders? Maybe try to narrow it down to a specific thing?

What hardware/ driver version is your Windows machine using?

As you probably know Unite’08 is in progress so the Unity staff most likely have their hands and time full with that, it may take a little longer for them to get back to you. :frowning:

What are the near far plane settings on the camera?
