Hi omegagriever,

You can do all of your development in MonoDevelop, on both PC and Mac. When it comes time to publish on iPhone, you can create a build for iPhone from Unity itself. xCode is mostly used for native app development (in Objective C) on iOS, not for applications made with the Unity engine.

Thanks thebarryman!!
i will start developing it soon , another quick question,
if i purhcase Unity Pro, do i need to purchase Unity Iphone Pro as well?or i can use unity iphone basic?
is the engine license bound to a pc or person? if i install unity with the license i purchase in current pc, and i brought new hardwarre can i switch my license to there?

You need still XCode to build Unity apps…Unity produces an Xcode project when building for iOS, and it’s also what you use for native code plugins.

You can use iOS Basic.

Person.

Yes, and you get two installs on difference machines per person anyway.
