Windows IE6 player plugin uninstall - how to?

I’ve reported a bug** via the email system, but I have another question.

How do I uninstall the player plugin under Win XP Pro Service Pack 2 running IE6?

Thanks, Todd

**the bug is that the player hangs the IE session, the mouse cursor disappears, and when the IE window is closed, the machine goes into a reboot-loop and I have to turn it off (POR) to get it back. Kinda severe behavior for a plugin…

Start->Control Panel->Add or Remove Programs then remove “Unity Web Player”.

Before you do uninstall it, can you run C:\Program Files\OverTheEdge\Unity\WebPlayer\UnityBugReporter.exe and send us the bug report? That will send your machine specs (CPU, graphics card, driver versions) and will help us to fix the problem.

Thanks. Bug report sent. I’ll wait a bit before I uninstall to see if perhaps there is some more testing I can do to make sure this gets addressed. This is my first experience with Unity3D and their software. I write and maintain solftware for a living (another platform) and I know how nice it can be to have a willing customer that will assist me with diagnostics.

So, we’ll see.

Thanks again, Todd
