Windows: Visual Studio 2022: Can't associate app with store

Wondering if anybody else has been experiencing “can’t associate app with store” issues when trying to publish a build within Visual Studio 2022 Community on Windows for the Microsoft Store? Or has experienced similar in the past or has any idea how to go about it? By the posts in the VS forum it seems to be a recurring issue, but no solutions are ever given, just postings stop. And none of the ideas therein work.

We are using the same credentials for the store and VS. The latter shows logged in status, but the store titles aren’t accessible. Suggested hitting the ‘Refresh’ button does nothing and the single available link opens an irrelevant Azure (?!?) page. Incidentally, what’s Azure got to do with it anyhow?

The last time doing it included VS 2019 and it worked just fine, but a recent Unity upgrade prompted VS upgrade and it seems to have gone in a wrong direction from there.

MS has got this health page, but the notice ‘We are currently experiencing publishing delays in Partner Center Ingestion due to maintenance which is expected to complete in a few hours.’ has been up for days now.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ok, it seems for some reason this may turn out to be an issue related to Windows 10 Home running on Bootcamp (Mac), so it would be good if at least somebody gave a nod they weren’t experiencing issues with a similar setup, please.

After a lot of experimenting, nothing.

Any comments?

Heya, it seems to work on our end. Did you try repairing Visual Studio? You could also try using VS 2019 for that if VS 2022 doesn’t work in the worst case.
