Wingman Wireless

Hello. I jst plugged in a wingman wireless gamepad and noticed that all of the axis are different. What worries me is that none of the axis control the vertical movement of the right analog controller. While the 6th axis controls the horizontal element, instead the 5th axis corresponds to a small lever on one of the sides of the pad.

To see if the vertical control of the right analog did something in osx I installed the gamepad companion preference panel and it registers as “Slider”. Is it feasible that this is a 7th axis? is there a way to get unity to recognize it?

I hope I’m clear.

Here is a pic of what I mean.

I added the 7th and 8th axis to be selectable in the input manager for next release.
I also fixed a couple of bugs in the screen selector when choosing a joystick, that should work more robustly now.

You should be able to set the controller up in the key configure screen selector dialog in the current version though.

Thanks, but the configurator screen always takes the 2 axis in one of the controllers as 1 axis and not as two different ones making it unsuable. I tried editing the plist but was a bit lost on which values to tweak.

Hope this new release comes soon.

Would it be possible to eventually save more than one axis configuration via the screen configurator, so that I can save differnet values and then select them from a drop down, which micght have as first option “Default” which will bring the default axis from the unity app?

Thanks!

ohh and while at it add an anti alias checkbox or combo to the configuration panel so we have the best of the web version in the standalone app
