Hello guys, introduce myself, i’m Fabiano “Deimos” Zaino.
Today i want to talk about the game that we are planning for a year with a friend of mine: it is Forgive Me, a game-oriented titles like Dear Esther exploratory or Protheus (the ones that come to mind). We are currently using Unity though we are at our first test with this graphics engine.
We have released a small trial version at this link WeTransfer - Send Large Files & Share Photos Online - Up to 2GB Free (expires January 15)
If you try it, let us know what you think.
It is a game developing so do not expect large gameplay
But any feedback that you give us, for we will be very valuable.
PS: forgive my english, i do not know the language well so i have to help me with a dictionary.
This looks good but you need to explain more about the game. We know it is an exploration game but what about?
Will it be just exploration or are you planning to add something else? The tower could have an interiror… i went there to see it since i found nothing more to see but there was nothing to see too
The graphics and textures need alot of improvement, it is a first person movement… and the level design (terrain) is somewhat planar…
Other than that… it was fun go reach the tower
My true opinion is that it is too early to show whatever… It is a terrain with a first person…
You could add some cliffs in there… some caves… Improve alot that tower if it is to stay…
The fog and rain seems right for a story of someone who commited suicide…
And the drawings if they are your art, they’r actually very good
Goodluck!
Hello, thank you for feedback.
The game will have two structures: the open completely free to be explored in order to discover the various places with the main journals.
The Tower will be further explored, there will be rooms and inside there will be choices to make. In the coming months, we must also enter the first NPC with which dialogue - but we have a hard time finding a modeler who follow us. The game is currently at almost zero cost, some of us are studying, others did not work so we’re trying to accomplish this game to see how it could go. There is much to develop and improve, we know this
Very interesting concept, thank you for providing game info. So far the environments look great, judging by screenshots. Do you have a web-version of the demo by any chance? keep up awesome work!
Are you aiming for horror?
No, it is not a horror game.
We are trying to achieve an atmosphere that is mixed well with the drama of the subject.
But you will find horror themes
Until tomorrow you can try the demo link at the top of my first post. We did not have a web demo for now, maybe later.
The gaming world will be three times bigger than the demo. Thanks for the feedback.
