Awhile back I created a post about my game PixelChat. PixelChat is still in development, but I thought I would be fun to make a 2D mobile game and (where I live) endless running games are in right now.
So, I picked out my favorite character from PixelChat (Clown) and placed him in Pixel Jump. Using Unity Free and a modified version of the Runner Tutorial I have created my new game.
Due for beta release within the next week(s), I plan to add new characters to play, connect with Facebook, and online scoreboards. The official release isn’t known yet but here is a video of some gameplay.
NOTE This game is for Andriod only. Hopefully I can release on iOS before Christmas.
Good work, I suggest taking games such as ‘Gravity Guy’ or ‘Bit trip Runner’ for both a font style and an example. I can see potential in the game with the code there, but I really do suggest Upping the quality of the game graphics otherwise, despite the gameplay of the game, it will appear rather bland.
Well, I think it’s agreeable that the style is rather ‘low-production’, but I think you can do well with the playability.
Needs work but not too much work on the code.
Oh, and my tip is if the platforms are going to be rainbow in the game, get the particles shooting behind the character to be rainbow with the platform.
