I 'd like to introduce my last project, a plugin, which allows anyone to rig and skin his 3D character inside Unity3D , and the best part, the progress is nearly automatic. It uses advanced algorithm, which means you won’t face problems with vertices affected by the wrong joint (as shown in picture with arm and legs). Further it comes with it’s own deformation system, which simulates skin in a better way than linear blending or dual quaternion skinning at nearly same performance.
It’s not yet perfect, but I work hard to get the job done
