I’m a newbie Unity developer, and i started a couple of months ago to work on a RPG. At the moment, only few things have been done, but i hope to keep developing it constantly, and maybe one day it will be a worthy game.
I’m working at this project alone, trying to improve everyday. Of course, i’m totally unexperienced, so every opinion, critic or suggestion is very welcome!
Lookin good! My only complaint is the controls are a little annoying, mainly the back button since you use it so often but you have to leave your normal spot to reach the key. Keep it up though looks like it will be fun
Thanks for the reply Lazdude!
I will try to improve controls for a better experience! Could you just explain me better which is the issue with Back button? I really can’t understand it, sorry… However, if it can helps, every window can be closed with ESC! ^^
I got my ass beaten by were wolfs (looks more like lions), as for the controls I would suggest to look at the diagonals, if you hold up and right forexample the character slows down a lot, not sure if is intended.
Its just a little uncomfortable since you are going to be pressing the back button a lot since rpg’s are kinda menu based games. Having to stretch to the esc key is kind of annoying to me at least. See if anyone else says anything before you act on this of course. Could just be me.
Thanks Neurological for your opinion!
I know werewolf seems a lion, proper sprite will be changed as soon as possible!
About controller, i know the annoying thing about two key pressed at the same time, i will try to improve the system, but 4-directions movement is intended, i prefer not to having diagonal ones (the are not necessary in my game).
Thanks again.
Okey Sir, i got your point.
I will try to improve it, maybe with a faster menu exploration and linking a nearer key to exit menu fast (like Q or left-shift).
Thanks for your help!
Nice GarBenjamin, i’m glad you appreciated it. Of course storyline is still short, but i have already many things in my mind that will happen in this adventure. Thanks for trying it and for your words.
