Good evening, folks!
Today I’d like to present our project: “Tehadon - Aarhems Guard”, a 3rd-person-rpg. The game has been in development for quite a long time, but we just switched to Unity engine. Before, we tried some other options, unfortunately without success. Who we are? We’re the so called T-Team. With below than ten members, our team is rather small, but also very committed. And I’ve to mention explicitily that we’re always looking for new team members! Also and above all the fun is very important for us. ![]()
General
So I want to come to the actual game. Tehadon is, as I said, a singleplayer fantasy role playing game set in the fantasy world called Tehadon. When it’s finished, it will provide a detailed background together with an adult story. Action-packed combat and a detailed expansion of the character are planned. Tehadon will be released for PC and is expected to be free, a release date is not yet fixed.
The World
“As no one was in sight, Darius grabbed the stone as he was tormented by desire. Yet when he touched the rune stone and the power filled him, he realized what he had done. His tongue wriggled in his mouth without control, his fingers stuck almost at the cold, burning stone. He realized what the essence of magic was, he spoke words that he didn’t know when he conjured flames and ice and wind and rock, he fell to the ground, as the power of the gods itself was unleashed and was served in people’s minds. From then on, men were able to control magic powers.”
The quote above comes from the book “The beginning of all days”, which contains the stories of the creation of the world and plays a role in the actual game. So, also magic is important for the game’s story.
Several continents, races, factions and languages dominate this world. Several long ages have passed since the creation of the runes by the old people and the great cataclysm. Magic has been given to men, mighty empires have come and gone and now the New Order is ruling the land of Issanûr with strong hand. Four known continents represent the scene for ancient conflicts: Issanûr and Al’tjemen in the west, Runthan in the east and the northern wasteland at the northernmost border of the known world. Issanûr is the old continent of men, which is ruled by the new order for 212 years now. In the south, Issanûr borders Al’tjemen, the desert, which still contains some secrets of the displaced poeple of the Intenars. The continent of Runthan has been discovered only some years ago and sets the stage for the conflict between the New Order and the “savages” of those warm and cold forests and swamps. Beside fearsome creatures the northern wasteland is inhabited by the Intenars that were almost entirely driven from Issanûr and Al’tjemen or enslaved by the humans many years ago. However, although both peoples - humans as Intenars - are enemies in a seemingly eternal conflict, both have a common ancestor: the old people that disappeared through the great cataclysm. Because the cause of this catastrophe, both humans and Intenars are finding themselves in a conflict: the New Order sets about collecting the runes that were responsible for the destruction of the highly developed old culture. The runes give the person who uses them the power of the gods. In contrast, there are the magic gifted “elect” or Druya who want to stop the fanatical regime of the New Order of getting the runes because apparently the New Order isn’t acting voluntarily.
So much about the world in general, although It’d be possible to fill many more pages with lore.
The game “Aarhems Guard”
The game surely takes place in this world, or to be more precise: In the town Aarhem in the year 212 of the New Order. Situated on one of the estuaries of the great stream, the centuries-old port city is an important base for expeditions to Runthan. The resistance of the Druya against the New Order is stifled and the New Order is discriminating against the few remaining Intenars. Mysterious murders of citizens of different origins shake the town and the apparently overmatched town guard isn’t able to catch the murderer. At the same time a young recruit is nearing the completion of his training. When the well-known trader Leif Fergusson VII, a member of the Commercial team of the Empire, is found dead, the commander of Aarhem is sealing off the city …
As you may already suspect, the player embodies these recruit, which is currently called Jack. We’ll reveal more of the story lateron.
No we come to the graphical aspect of the game. As already stated, the Intenars are playing a major role in the game. Here is an artwork of these blue creatures:
These Intenars with her dark skin respresent the few Intenars of the desert, while the Northern Intenars are dressed much thicker, but they won’t be in the game.

At the moment we are working on a small demo, bearing the simple title “campfire demo” and some things to show in the graphic area.
And that brings me to the recent developments: In the month of December we want to reveal something new every sunday. At the end of the month then there’ll be the demo to download.
At the moment, both game and website are just in german language, but we want to provide english versions in the near future.
Well, that’s it for now. Further material will follow in the coming weeks and we wish you all a beautiful Christmas season!
