Continuing to push HDRP for my work… updated the skin shader to allow two roughness maps, one broad for base roughness of the skin, and the other a little more focused on the oily areas of the skin (which is packed into a single texture for optimisation). Veering UNCOMFORTABLY close to the Uncanny Valley, especially with the skin scattering and eyes, which I am considering adding SSS to it…
Also improved on the detail mapping in the game… you’ll never really notice it, but it will allow the surfaces to look a lot more detailed.

Code does not count. This isn’t a general show off anything thread. I have removed posts in the last few days I feel don’t match the thread.
Restrict the thread to “small works of ART” - as in you made the models and so on. It doesn’t mean sponza with lensflares or asset pimping.

But may I make some suggestions for the trailer?

Ditch the well lit tunnel in the intro.

Use more of the darkness and limited as an element. Instead of flashing 2d words on a black background, have them scribbled on a wall and reveal them by passing a light source by them.

Don’t just show the monster. Build to it as the player moves through the maze. Start quiet and build tension. Then have a monster briefly show up on screen. Let the viewer get uneasy. Then do the reveal in game.
