[WIPz] ... and Beyond

This is the first game I’m working on. It’s a very simple game that was inspired to me by the Space Shooter tutorial.

As you can imagine, it’s set in space and it will be a 1st/3rd person shooter involving two ships: you and an unknown enemy who doesn’t like you and has decided that he would shot you down. Why? I don’t know, he hasn’t told me; he is very elusive and having him talk is close to impossible.

So, this game, for now, has a very short story: you must survive and escape the enemy; kill him or, maybe, just lose him behind (I don’t know yet) and the cat and mouse game will span over several scenes.

For now, I’m building the first scene; the models I use are some that Unity Technologies allow us to use. I also use skyboxes and ships I found on the Assets Store. I have experience at level designing so, in the future, what I’ll need the most is help about scripting. I’m not completely illiterate at coding but I’m far from being an expert either!

Oh, about the title “… and Beyond”; the “…” part is yours; I’m sure you’ll find something for yourselves.

I’m also working on the ships controllers, which is likely to take quite some time, given my level at scripting…

Another weapons test, from another point of view. The ship should have exploded but didn’t. It was probably hit just outside its collider. It’s exactly the kind of unexpected events that I cherish and wish happen in my game; there is no better way to fight the monotony generated when things always happen the same way in the same order:
