First off, thanks for all the hard work on the current documentation. I currently use it constantly whenever I’m using my lappy to develop things. I consider it one of the best set of documentations among all platforms I’ve come across.
Thinking out loud though, I wish there was an EPUB version with a working table of contents of the documentations that I can easily load into my iPad and iPhone and read through while on the train.
I prefer EPUB over PDF for obvious reasons (viewed using iBooks):
Screen resizing - EPUBs still look ok when viewed using my iPhone
Night mode - less stress on the eyes when reading with the lights off
We hear this occasionally, and talk about it often. Suspect it will happen, just not a priority right now. The manual is authored in MarkDown, so I’ll look and see which of the markdown-to-ePub tools might help us.
No, no news. Three years (!) ago I said “suspect it will happen” but not a priority. Guess will not happen. (Just tried Calibre but couldn’t get anything working. Think our html pages are too complex.)
