This art style is really cool. It’s sort of like retro pixellated but in 3D. Not just low poly, not just low poly trying to represent high poly as close as possible, but the whole squareness and flat surfaces angular thing, very cool and original. I could see a whole game in this style.
I’m glad you like it! And thanks for stopping by johny
I understand that price can be an obstacle. But consider that professional caliber assets can run into the hundreds if not thousands of dollars to produce. Add to that the fact that you are purchasing not just the asset, but the rights to use that asset in your own products in perpetuity – and I think you will agree that I’m not asking too much
If there are any devs out there who are interested in trading a lower price on the front end for a percentage of the back end, I would happily entertain the offer!
Or if you are severely cash-strapped (like me), perhaps we can work out a price that will work for you via PM.
I have to say I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the style and all I can say is that I’d be forever in your debt if you put up a short tutorial on how to make stuff like that.
Beyond that I can see there being some limiting factors. While the style is awesome, it is also iconic and so far, while great, the assets you’ve released are not overly flexible. The very factor that makes them so great limits them. I’d like to make a suggestion if you’re willing.
Take a note from Frogames. While a they’re a bit too low poly and a bit blurry of texture, their modular Wizards, Females, and Warriors And Commoners packages are pretty much the gold standard for mass modular population of a fantasy world without too much fuss. If you were to release something similar it would be be great and probably sell like hot cakes as it would allow people to populate an entire world rather than have one really unique hero.
Also, some animal packs would be good too for the same reason.
I hope I’m not insulting you here. Honestly, I’ve fallen in love with your style.
