So I imported my 16b height-map into unity, set up everything but all the details I had in the terrain was gone and left with chunks.
I’ve tried importing the default world machine terrain’s height map into unity but all the details were there. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Not sure, but try to set terrain size to map size. And adjust terrain height.
Tried that still chunky ;_;
What was the clue?
Maybe someone with the same problem could use some help. (not me at the moment)
One of the admins on the World machine forums told me that if I wanted to do a Tile build it would be better if I export the r16 height-map then re-import it with the file input device. It did build faster even on 4096 without even running out of memory. But my map was huge and all it was doing was slicing minor crap into more crap(by slicing a height-map with some detail removed into something with even more detail removed) That resulted in all my details being turned into those square patterns as for each pixel of the height-map. So I did the Tile build the long and hard way, by just clicking the Tile build button without re-importing the height-map.
