Would a SSD help loading this faster?

If by “saving lag” you mean compile time, then no. I don’t think saving text file takes a lot of time.

Scripts are tiny and take no time to save. It’s compiling that causes delays, so a faster CPU will speed it up.

I’m confused by this, you’re suggesting that an ssd would improve compile time?
Assuming the compiler doesn’t load them asynchronously you might save some time.
I’m picking its a mistake. Our friendly developers are not infallible.
