Hey guys,
During the development of our first iOS title, we not only came up with a great way to meet our mobile sound performance needs (MasterAudio plugin - now on the Asset Store for $10), but we also out of necessity created a wave spawning system that makes it easy to set up enemy (or friendly) attack waves from any number of spawner objects, all with their own settings. You set up the “master” wave settings in one place, then for each spawner you tell it which waves it will be active for and what to spawn, among other settings. It is streamlined to save a lot of time during design tweaking, and indeed it did just that for our title.
So my question is, if there is no AI built into this theoretical plugin, would it still be of interest to you and / or have some value? What kind of features would you like to have that I haven’t mentioned, and what would be a fair price for this plugin? I also have a handful of other useful spawner scripts and utility spawn / despawning scripts that could go in.
I should be able to crank it out pretty quickly from what we have already, depending on what additions are desired.
