Would this be considerd plagiarisim? :(

Okay, so in Blender I’m making a sub-woofer, I want to make a game and put it in the game.

The subs are a brand named Kicker (in my opinion the best) and I textured it and everything, so it has the Kicker logo and name on it. If I put it into the game would that be considered plagiarism or copy write? Or anything? Since it has the logo and name on it. Or is it all good?

If it helps any. Here is a picture of the model.

how popular will this game be?

Well, I hope pretty popular. I have 3 or 4 people helping me at the moment. And I’m making a game that’s similar to PlayStation Home. If you want to see the thread go here: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/73728-I-got-an-idea-care-to-help-out

But I sent them an e-mail just now. So hopefully they say yes, or at least understood what I was asking. But I’m just wondering if any of you forum people might know

In most cases like this the owner of the trademarks never find out; and if they do, they usually look the other way as it’s free brand exposure.

As long as you’re not using the Kicker brand to promote your game or as a key element in your game chances are you’ll be just fine. Worst case scenario they’ll send you a cease and desist. Best case, they’ll thank you for the free exposure.

If you really don’t need the Kicker logo though I’d just get rid of it - better safe than sorry.

Doesn’t matter how popular it is, you’re stomping on trademarked property.

Remove the logo.

Make up your own.

Or contact Kicker and see if they want to license it to you.

Dang :frowning: Well I hope they do… if not I just created another different one.
