Would you play it?

(Sorry if it’s in the wrong section!)
First off, a bit of back story - I’m in a long distance relationship. It’s hard to bond with her, but we try and play the odd online game and whatnot, just to do something together, but we’re running dry on things to do.
So I suggested we make a game together.

We’re making a Zelda-esque game 'cause that’s something that we’ve both played and you make what you know, right? We’re experimenting with the genre, throwing in some other elements and whatnot aswell.

There’s not much detail here 'cause we’ve just started, but would anyone like to see when it’s complete? It may end up becoming full-sized, just to add a bit of personal challenge to us…

Well if it’s a decently done Zelda-clone I would play it.

Well… I like Zelda… so… :smile:
Just make sure to do it right. Make interesting items, well-designed dungeons, and tons of side-quests.

I’d play a zelda based game. Surprisingly, not that many games are inspired by it, as apposed to shooters which everyone does. Even if they were shameless knock-offs, I’d still like to play more games in the same style because it takes nintendo like 3 years to release a major Zelda game.
