That’s really not excessive at all for a contract rate.
If you are a freelancer that’s not very much.
Seems reasonable for someone who is very experienced knows what they are doing. Things like this generally are not offering $460 per day for you to learn Unity. They hire people to jump in and start knocking stuff out.
Also remember many of us have told people over and over… if your main ambition is to make money then get a job or do some contract work! Certainly a much faster way to make money and if you are hired you have a guarantee (until you are canned anyway).

The median daily rate would be a lot more interesting.
That’s a very low sample rate, so take it with a grain of salt. Though $60/hour is a typical contract programmer rate for experienced developers where I’m at. Ranges from $30/hr. to $120/hr. depending on the work required and experience.
