Rally Car Pack includes beautiful set of 4 rally cars, made by a professional modeler. Each car is optimized and includes PSD texture files at 2048x2048. Additionally, you can find special dirt textures for each car (also 2048x2048) - With shaders in this package, you can make your cars get dirtier as they are being driven in game. This package includes a sample scene.
Cars are beautiful and detailed with all you can find in real rally cars (roll cages, hood pins, antennas, spoilers, and tow bars etc.) Average tris: 15000 tris (med-poly)
Thanks! For now no - those need to be enough for starting your racing game
Of course we have more normal cars in Asset Store, but I guess you asked about WRC/RALLY
Hi there, I bought and imported the package. VERY NICE models! One problem, though… when I drag a prefab into the scene, there is nothing there? I can build the cars up from scratch but I guess then I’d have to reset the transforms for the wheels etc…
Those prefabs are not from this models (are from American Car Pack) I need reupload this to Unity with deleted prefabs.
Just open test scene and you will see that all models are there. You can always make your prefab from model also If you need some help - write me.
Hmmm, sorry to bother you again… I made my prefab. It worked but it seems the rotations aren’t set correctly on the models. When I add wheel colliders, they face the wrong way… is there an easy way to fix this? I’m not a 3D gfx guy. LOL.
Haha, yeah, I was temporarily blind. My mistake. But is there a way to fix the transform/rotation. The car rotation is set to -90/180/0 by default and I need it at 0/0/0. The wheels are wrong too… the wheel colliders make them spin sideways. LOL.
Yes there is a way for this.
Create empty gameobject - than place inside this object model and save gameobject as prefab (ofc you can change name)
like this prefab will have rotation 0x0x0 always
the same with wheels
I guess you use some physics that dont take original model rotation but rotate from 0x0x0 that why you have this problems.
But placing models inside gameobjects will fix it.
