Wrong values in statistic window

I have a ~150k tris on scene, but statistic window show more 800k tris from camera, but when I delete some object from scene, tris is increased on 20-50k tris! How it’s works? I need accurate values how many tris in camera, how I can get it? Thanks.

Well, those statistics are the actual rendering statistics and not a summary of your scene. To quote:

The number of triangles and vertices
drawn. This is mostly important when
optimizing for low-end hardware

Depending on the used shader a mesh might be drawn several times. There might be seperate lighting passes, shadow passes, etc… Also additional geometry is rendered if you use a skybox, a projector or any kind of postprocessing.
