Hi!
In all platforms my final build is less than 100mb, but using WSA10 Universal I got a final build with download size of 240mb.
Is this expected? How can I avoid this Huge Builds?
Thanks

My universal builds package zips together the packages for arm, x86, and x64 into a single big file. When I download from the Windows Store, I only get the parts that I need. Eg: On phone my download is cut to almost a third because I only download the parts needed for ARM, and do not download the x86 and x64 parts.
How do you count 240 MB?
It’s not 240, it’s 296.43mb!
It’s the info it show on the store Get Forgotten Tales: Day of the Dead - Microsoft Store
When I download it on my machine, says it’s 100.7 MB:
When I install it, it’s 239 MB:
So, the store shows installation size, not download size. The download size is the compressed size, and installed size is uncompressed. What platform were you comparing to? What’s the size on standalone player when you build it for x64?
Hummm… you are right, this is the a bit bigger than the x86 build when uncompressed! I will need to check why it is so big, I don’t use so many assets to justify a final build of this size.
