The protagonist goes through all the emotions of the game.
X Scream we are realizing with the aim to make it as realistic as possible to let the player in the middle of the adventures that will have to solve.
The protagonist is catapulted into a world not real, in the world of Rosy the child who in 2010 committed suicide by hanging himself in psychiatry where he was hospitalized for 2 years now.
Rosy ended in psychiatry after the death of both parents as a result of a car accident, for Rosy was traumatic, he went out of his head and ended up hospitalized.
The protagonist of the game is the man who invaded the lane of the parents of Rosy killing them instantly in a head on collision.
The protagonist finding himself in another reality taking with him only a camera, will face the time, solve puzzles, before the camera runs out of batteries otherwise without light Rosy kill him.
While this looks great I’m fairly certain its glaringly illegal to badge your title with an unsanctioned rating from the Pan European Game Information Bureau… Might want to get rid of that sharpish.
I was thinking exactly the same off the pegi website:
Do all games have a PEGI rating?
Although PEGI is a self-regulatory system, every game for the Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony games consoles are PEGI rated as well as every PC game from the main European and American publishers. Game retailers usually require the products they sell to be labelled by PEGI and, consequently, it is very unusual to find a game for sale not rated by PEGI.
And also, I’ve seen this ‘game’ crop up several times in multiple threads here. Post it once, and give screenshots, and a description. Rules are rules.
Thats true. But PEGI is a reputable organisation with hundreds of censors. They check every aspect of a product. This means that people come to trust PEGI (or any other official) organisation when a rating is given. If anyone who says “yeah its scary, if your under 16 it might scare you” did what you have then the trust people and retailers have would be unfounded.
I’m not trying to crush your game or your idea here, they are solid, but please never do this again. It undermines everything a rating system stands for. They are vital indicators to those who haven’t checked themselves to see if its suitable for minors under their care.
What if you wrote “is okay for people with epilepsy” but in reality there was a set of events in your game which cause a brutal quantity of strobing. You could seriously harm someone. THIS is why we have organisations who take a long hard look at games and movies.
So again, cease and desist immediately. You can cause serious harm without intending it.
There are English and the translation I read the page, do not make me get this straight.
Are you asking me to remove the video from youtube trailer? or what?
Thats fine, you are completely free to upload that video as long and you use either the “Not Yet Rated” disclaimer that pegi or any other rating companies use or no rating at all.
No you do not need to remove the spider. Just the rating.
Thanks a lot, It’s nice to meet someone who actually respects the system once it’s been explained to them. We completely understand that you did not know there was an issue so its not your fault.
Thanks again
