xbox controller rotating

hi

PROBLEM
for a week or two i have just my xbox wireless controller (for pc) with unity with great success.
but now the 4th axis has startet to rotate :-/

WHAT I HAVE TRIED
i have tried to calibrate but has not fixed the problem.
i have tested in various demos (for oculus rift) hand here the controller works fine.
i tried to change to 5th. axis and i works well, also tested the controller
reinstalled unity

does anyone know what the issue could be?

ok found a solution - “joy num” was set to “get motion from all joysticks”
and when i opened unity without the controller activated, the player starts to rotate
so there must be somekind of interference

selecting “Joystick 1” solved the problem.

well it was as noob as it could be - i had a joystick attaced, with full trhottle :-/

i’m to old for this i think :-/
