Xcode 4.02 SDK 4.3 builds

Can anyone tell me if the newest Xcode SDK builds work when added to the iTunes App store? Or is uninstalling and rolling back to Xcode 3.25 SDK 4.2 the only way build an app that won’t crash until Unity 3D iOS is updated?

I’ve an app that’s ready to go - but I don’t want to wait for a Unity3D update.

Is the way to go at the moment.

Obviously you can’t give details, but is it possible say whether a statement like this is true: As soon as Apple make the changes they need to, we can put out a Unity update immediately.

I was literally just about to buy a license when I found the rejection thread and it made me extremely nervous.

Hi Mantas,

is this

a) iOS SDK problem
b) a Unity Problem (with the current SDK)
or c) both of the above

Hi Mantas, was thinking of one other thing - Unity has a bunch of demo apps on the App Store.I am pretty sure I have never seen an update to one of the them. Why doesn’t your QA team refresh these apps with each new SDK? It might give you guys a heads up sooner rather then later that there is a problem or conflict that will cause rejections like this one?

Hello mantasp, Xcode 3.25 is not available for download anymore, the current old version is XCode 3.26 and SDK 4.3. Is this version ok? because I don´t know how to downgrade or where to find the version you stated.

Thanks

This version is NOT ok. Download link for 4.2 SDK you can find in this forum post: http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/83076-iOS-4.3-App-Rejected?p=561789&viewfull=1#post561789

Thanks I´ll do that

I downgraded to 4.2 Xcode 3.25 for the final build. My app was accepted and is up for sale on iTunes now. Hopefully this will all get sorted soon so we can start using Xcode 4 and the latest SDK.
