For some reason I’m unable to view your image, but I strongly recommend that you upgrade to latest XCode, if there’s no special reason to stay with the older. I’m guessing it’s Snow Leopard, but after upgrading to Mountain Lion this summer myself, I’d say it’s no biggie.
Thanks mtoivo! It must be that, but I don’t have Mountain Lion. If everything else fails, I’ll do that.
By the way the error has gone away when in Unity I’ve changed SDK and IOS versions to a more recent one. BUT, another problem arised, now xcode says that my ios device doesn’t have the latest IOS version on it, which is strange, as iTunes says that I have it. What can this be?
Your image shows that you are going to build for iphone simulator and unity cant run or simulator. So try to change build for device and build again.
Thanks UnityCoder! I’ve tried to build on device, but it shows the same problem.
I don’t know for sure, but I think that XCode 4.2 doesn’t support iOS 6.0. I might be completely wrong, of course. That would explain why it doesn’t understand the OS level your device has. Few google searches prediected, that it would be possible to put iOS 6.0 SDK into XCode 4.2, don’t know for sure though. You’d have to do it manually anyway.
Thanks, already solved it by buying Lion, and downloading the latest xcode.
