I can build my app for development on my iPhone and I have apps already on the appstore. Now for my latest app I want to sure I build it with the correct setting.
I want to make sure my app run the OS3 and on the iPhone 3 still. I made the app in unity for iPhone only.
Any advice which setting i should set in Xcode so my apps builds correctly for iPhone only for the appstore submission.

Base SDK to 4.0 (thats a must or you won’t get anywhere
)
Architecture: ARMV6 ARMV7 if you want to target 3G too, otherwise ARMV7 (ensure to not enable build for active architecture only!)
Deployment target: OS 3.0 through 3.1.3 whatever you want
this is present on the active target only, not project settings
and last in the project menu - active architecture - ARMV6 if you want that and enabled above
i get an error:
the validate build product build setting was not enabled when building for distribution.
any help/advice?
thx;

go to project settings, choose your distribution configuration and then enter “validate” into the search field, that will make the option show up
since when it that required?
have never seen it, so I would guess 4.0.1 likely as a consequence of the requirement to use the application uploader from apple (or the build archive functionality in xcode). That way they ensure that no invalid stuff is uploaded just to fail then on itunes connect
