XR Upscaling filter not changing

I am trying out the new upscaling feature in XR and I can’t seem to get the filter to change to the selected method. When target eye is set to both, the filter doesn’t output the selected method. When it is set to None, it displays the expected result.

Switching the filter yields the same result no matter what’s selected. Having an uninitialized backgrounds shows different behavior, but the end result is still the same. One interesting thing is that FidelityFX Super Resolution sharpness is still having a sharpness effect, but the actual upscaling is incorrect.

Can you link to this upscaling technique?
I’m using 2021 and never heard of it. I personally always just use MSAA for VR

MSAA is still ideal, this is a way of getting more quality out of lower resolutions. You can try it out in 2022 HDRP along side of DLSS.

your post is in URP, not HDRP (;
Personally stick to URP because of quest support and performance

I know that. The feature is in URP, but it’s broken for XR. I was just mentioning that you can try it in HDRP now because it’s broken in URP.

I thought DLSS and FSR was only available in HDRP unless you code it yourself

This is still broken in 2022.2.0a13.
