I’m having some performance issues with Unity parsing YAML. This is a relatively empty scene, not much in it besides one mesh painted using the MegaSplat asset. It seems to be unrelated to MegaSplat though, potentially. I profiled it using Intels VTune app to get the true bottleneck time since the profiler in Unity was reporting the time inaccurately to MegaSplat.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? I have an i7 4 ghz processor, 32 gb of ram, gtx 970, and an ssd.
