Hi Kuroato,

I think the game is too dark. Lighting is very important and simply adding a flashlight might sound realistic, but in reality you would have at least some light bouncing around, since you don’t have GI a little ambient light would help.

I know games like Slenderman have brought this “lighting” into the spotlight, but it’s not really helping the game-play, it get’s old fast and creatively it doesn’t allow for anything interesting.

Hope this helps.

K.

Nice start to a good game but headshots should do more damage it takes 5 shots to take out one zombie even if i shoot them in the head each time. Also the noise from the zombies is always on it seams the sound should be directional from the zombies but it seams to be be all around maybe a smaller sound effect area for the sounds? Also instead of having the groaning noise all the time as it is now have it now and again but as normal sounds have scuffling feet and small noises that come from the zombies direction. scraping foot steps getting closer and closer are more scary then groaning noises anyway. Try it out and see.

Yes, very helpful! = ) I actually had the Lighting in mind to redo for sure! I’m not big fan of all DARKness and just a flashlight lol… I do want some better lighting… so that will defiantly get worked on! as far as Gameplay, some better AI, and FX are in the works…! = ) Thanks Koyima

Yes, the Sound FX is very important! I need to improve that rather than a simple looping zombie noise lol! = ) Will def work on that… damage, kill effects like Head Shot and other damage effects are also in the works as well! stay tuned… Thanks Darkjayson

Good game it just sucks when you run out of ammo and can’t get anymore.

seems interesting…Needs some work

I like how you, after getting the shotgun, go from being hunted to being the hunter. I also like how you really had to save your ammo and use it carefully. Really good for a beta. What I would like to see would be more levels and zombies with different health, like some kind of a boss maybe?

Thanks alot for the feedbak UnityTeddy! Glad you like it! there is much much more coming more levels… and more features! = ) Stay Tuned!

lol i know… but that’s part of the game challenge! save your ammo aim and shoot wisely!

work is in progress for sure! = ) next update should be Great!

Oh my god, i haven’t ammo for kill the last zombie …

Too, i have seen another level of the game, where is now ?

A few things, I would comment on:

  1. Add some more lights, even a really weak directional light in the scene would help.
  2. Use GUI Styles and refine your GUI from the default stuff. It’ll really add to the professionalism of the game.
  3. Optimization would help. Have you tried light-mapping the scene?
  4. Make some icons for the GUI. Things like ammo pickups shouldn’t be announced by text.
  5. Headshots should be an one hit kill.

Otherwise, it looks nice, keep up the good work.

hey there Gaming Zone FR, there are actually 4 Levels Ready for the Game! = ) , I just recently got an nice update from my programmer, so i’m hoping to get around to pushing these updates very soon! which should include all 4 levels, better Lighting, smarter / faster Zombie AI, Head-shots, Shooting Zombies in the Legs to make them Fall to the Ground and Crawl after you, SoundFX Updates / Repairs, and added a Zombie Boss, a Big Ugly, Fat Zombie that is a Tank, kind of like a Tyrant that is hard to kill! = )

Coming soon! as soon I get the time to Push all these Updates! they are pretty much ready to go, but still some works needs to be done, cleanup, tweaking, adjustments etc…

Thanks vk007, hmm i have never looked into light-mapping, i will try look into that! = ) and for the rest, yes i will take note of all your suggestions! thank you.

Is a good start but I found a few things alittle annoying

  1. The crawlers often got up, usually after getting shot
  2. The zombies would just stand still after bring shot

It would also be nicer to have a big map and a high spawn rate.

Apart from that it has allot of potential, and I had quite a bit of fun playing

Thanks! I’m pretty sure the 2 points there will be addressed on the next update. Regarding high spawn rate, I found there was huge performance issue after spawning more than 16 Zombies… so that’s why the waves are currently at 16 Zombie Spawns. Maybe this can can be optimized later for more Zombies! = )

This is fun little arcade shooter. Great work.
