Zooming Issue in Windows

I am following the tutorials at learn me silly and I have an issue with zoom with the keyboard. ?Holding command key and moving mouse it how it is done in Max and when I use the windows key that works however every time I release the windows key the start menu shows up. Is there a different key to allow zoom moving the mouse left and right on windows (I kno wI can use the mouse wheel but using window key with mouse movement is much faster)?

I have tried to disable the windows from activating the start menu but all I can find is a way to completely disable the window key so that it does not even work in Unity.

Windows has no command key
What you need to use is Left Alt on Windows, for zoom left alt + right mouse for example or just the mouse wheel as anyone would

If the windows key works for that, then you have somehow remapped keys.

Thanks, the right mouse button does do the zooming (actually with or without the left alt key down).
