Work in progress video of very early prototype of a tower defense type game I’m working on. Still tons to do that I may never finish, but it’s been fun and development has been impressively fast due to Unity’s awesome API and asset pipeline.
Update 1:
Mostly backed work, but some updated textures and a new enemy.
I modified the texture some, retopologized it to get it down to 1.5k tris instead of 4.5 (decent framerate boost when there’s 12 or so on the screen), and re-unwrapped it to get rid of some of the seams, but it still looks mostly the same. I wasn’t able to use the animation that comes with it because I’m using blender so couldn’t import the animation. Animations are just placeholders too to test timing logic, needs a lot of TLC before it’s final.
The small one is just a placeholder model I threw together, will post screenshots once I clean it up a little.
