Thanks for checking out Stellar Conflict!. This is our first game made using the Unity3D Game Engine. We have been able to prototype our game very quickly and now I would like to take the time to show you what we are creating. 2D Tap Studios is comprised of four full time uni students. 2 Programmers, A 3D Modeller and an Animator/Concept artist. We are working on Stellar Conflict in our spare time.
Stellar Conflict is a Real Time Strategy game for iPhone and Android devices We will be also releasing a PC and Mac Version after the release of the Mobile version. Build your Fleet and Conquer your enemies, with over 20 unique ships and structures. We aim to bring AAA quality RTS gameplay to a handheld with both Competitive Multiplayer and a 3+ hour Campaign.
Stellar Conflict is set in the year 2185. The game will feature a competitive Multiplayer which will incorporate Social Networking features to enhance this experience. Stellar Conflict will Include 12 Skirmish maps when we release the game in late 2013, with new maps being released for free in frequent Map Pack Updates. Stellar Conflict will also include a large range of unique ships that will help you conquer and defeat your enemies. There will be 3 types of ships, Fighters, Cruisers and Destroyers and you will need to utilize all three types of ships to win.
Stellar Conflict will also contain a 3+ hour campaign that will keep you engaged when you are unable to play online. This campaign will be split into smaller 10-15 minute missions for easy pick up and play gameplay.
The Multiplayer portion of the game will have two different game modes on release. The first, is the typical Skirmish Game Mode where you can either battle your friends or an AI opponent. You are able to play with up to 3 other players depending on the skirmish map.
The other game mode is Survival. In this game mode, you are given a point of interest in the map which you must defend. Resources are shared with your team mate, so don’t waste your precious minerals.
Stellar Conflict is an entirely online game with the option to log into an offline profile. When online, you are able to use our social networking feature, Tap 2 Connect which allows you to add friends and private message.
The Main Menu for Stellar Conflict. From here you are able to view your current XP which is synced to our server every time you complete a single player or multi player mission. This is where you also access Tap 2 Connect
This is the My Fleet Tab which is located under Multiplayer. From here you can customise your ships in a number of different ways include the visual appearance, as well as assigning new abilities.
Your Homeworld is where you are able to build your basic units and structures. Once you receive enough resources you can build. More advanced buildings to build the higher class ships
You are able to select multi units by dragging with two fingers, you can also switch between the focus selected unit by tapping on the unit icon in the bottom of the screen.
We have begun programming in a basic combat system. In the future we hope to add an extremely dynamic combat system that will allow for an engaging and action packed experience.
At the moment we are working on updating the visual aspects of Stellar Conflict as a lot of the current assets are place holder models. We hope to have some updates for these in the next few weeks.
