I’m really thankfull that the unity guys are now upgrading IAP to the version 6 of google play.
BUT
Google is downranking apps that have outdated libraries inside. So it’s really mandatory to be on the last stable version.
Now the unity guys are working on the billing 6, which is already published since 1 year from google!! The upgrade should be addresses much more earlier from unity.
For example we have now also the published new version of the billing from google:
Google Play Billing Library 7.0.0 (14.05.2024)
when will this one integrated? May 2025 when google billing 8.0 is out???
I really am asking myself: Should I make myself the integration of the billing, if this behaviour of unity is staying as it is.
Or what is the idea to integrate the billing so late?
