Animate physic ?

Could somebody tell me what the animate physic button does inside unity ? I’ve tried to use it but the result just getting the same …

What’s the right way to use this ?

Somebody know ?

and

Thanks  I think I’ve read this before …

But now I some how get how it works and what it’s useful for. But what’s the different if the rigid body is kinematic or not ?

What do I have to do if I want to make a normal character with animation but the animation to be affected buy physic ?

Like the falling animation is affected by what it’s hit by ?

The isKinematic setting for rigidbodies can basically be interpreted as “switch physical reaction off for now”. This enables you to have skeletal animation on a character most of the time, but still use physical simulation when you need it. A typical example is the so-called “ragdoll” effect where a character walks, jumps, etc, with animation, but reacts physically when hit. Generally, physics and animation interfere with each other, so you need to switch between them to get the right effect at the right time.
