Another XCode Question Sorry...

I searched for this specific issue again to no avail (google/apple/unity forums):

XCode SDK is ver. 3.1.3
iPhone 3GS is OS ver. 3.0

In the Organizer I have:

Software Version 3.0 (7A341)

…and underneath it says…

Xcode cannot find the software image to install this version

YET, I was able to build and install my game using Device 3.0 | Release and it “Succeeded”…AND I can see it on my phone and play it…SO…

…what’s going on exactly?

Again I feel like this topic has been discussed elsewhere so I apologize in advance.

Does it happens to all the projects you create on your Unity iPhone?
Does it happens to the projects you make without Unity iPhone?

Simply when its connected to the dock and I open Xcode…

…not sure its project dependent and I DO recall seeing this error before when I negelected to update the SDK from 2.1 to 3.x…

Maybe you have version 3.0.1 on your iPhone, then you have to follow the iPhone 3.0.1 Advisory that you can download from the iPhone Dev Center. Or try downloading the 3.0 SDK from the same place, then you have to put it in users//library/itunes/iphone software updates (ipsw files). Then you’ll probably have to restart xCode or something.

Nope, avoided 3.0.1 for that very reason, so it most definitely is the first 3.0 update. Hmmm…

…and in fact my 1G iPhone is also OS 3.0 (7A341) and I do NOT get that message.

The test app (to test Unity iPhone 1.5) installed on both (and performed AMAZINGLY btw) just fine, and ran just fine with no burps from XCode so the message isn’t barring me from building so… ::shrugs::
