Time to show some screenshots of our game which we made for a Dutch game contest. We created this game in about a month, and it was our first game ever in Unity.
The idea behind the game is to collect water, and then placing plants/flowers in your garden. These plants/flowers generate “Seki points” which make the dessert become all green and filled with flowers, colorful objects, etc.
We had many, many ideas but developing a game in just a month time is asking for large cuts. So half of the content eventually made it in the game. Also, the game is not as polished as we would have looked like.
But it did provide us with a nice learning experience, and some codebase to start with for other games ;).
The actual game can still be played on the contest website. Unfortunately we didn’t win.
Just click through the tutorial (the game had to be made in Dutch), fill buckets in the rain (drag them), and then in the rain barrel. Click on tiles to build your awesome carrots or the happy flowers… ![]()
