Caracter Customization Example - Custom Character

I am attempting to impliment the Character Customization Example in my own project. I have listened to the screencast and added my own custom character following the same naming conventions and folder structure.

However I keep recieving this error:

KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the dictionary. It seems it cannot find my custom characters Elements? I have built the asset bundles (which succeed) and the materials.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
