Change button texture when its clicked

I’ve been searching around but found no answers.
I have 2 images, button1.png and button1_hover.png.
I want to change the texture of the button to button1_hover.png when its clicked.

How do I do that? I doubt skins will help as I’m using an image including text for the button.
