A JAR (or AAR) is a zip file with some extra metadata. Maybe you have some libraries that were compiled with a different java compiler than the one you are using ?

I think this is not the full error message (it says that “message is truncated” at the bottom).
I don’t know these warnings, but usually warnings don’t prevent the project from building… So there’s got to be some error listed somewhere that says why it can’t build…
Maybe there’s some java compiler inconsistency here. You can try upgrading / downgrading the java SDK you’re using…
You could also ask what compiler you should beg using on the Soomla forums or maybe @gurdotan can assist here ?
I’ve been trying to build with 1.7.79 and 1.7.80 java and error still comes up. I’ve been trying to figure this out for days and I’m completely hopeless

I removed every jar from plugins/android and the app builds, so i am guessing there is some kind of either corruption or interference with some of the jars… I’m going to add one by one and build and see which one it is…
Ok so I was left with facebooksdk.jar and unity-classes.jar, these two or one of them seem to cause the trouble, the app builds now. Not sure if everything works correctly though so will check it.
