Fullscreen settings problem

Hi. This is my fist post. Sorry to ask this trivial question (usually I found all answers by searching the forum and/or documentation), but couldn’t find any suitable answer for this one.

In my project (windows standalone) I’ve set “Project Settings->Player->Display Resolution Dialog” to Disabled. I’ve also set “Default is Full Screen” to unchecked.

When starting the application it is in windowed mode. So far so good.

Now in my application I switch to full screen and store it to registry via:

PlayerPrefs.SetInt(“Screenmanager Is Fullscreen mode”, 1);

Registry is populated correctly.

However if I exit the application in full screen mode and then restart it, Its starting again in windowed mode and the registry is modified.

How can I make the application start the way it is set in registry?

Could it be I’m using free version of the Unity3D?

Thanks

You will be sorry…

No seriously, welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, Unity doesn’t currently have a way to override the display settings at startup.

Thanks for reply. :slight_smile:

So the only way is to show Resolution Dialog, I guess.

As a side note, will it be possible in version 3.0? I’m thinking on purchasing the license for Unity Pro 3.0.

Regards.
