Good point - I’ll add some screens later on!
Here’s a short WIP video in iPhone resolution to give you a little glimpse. (The game will be out for iPad, iPhone, PC and Mac.)
My intention was to get a bit of fresh feedback from people who know next to nothing about the game, but I might have been a little too mysterious in my announcement. These are the first pieces of information going out about the game, expect a lot more sometime soon!
Hey! The art of your site looks great! but yeah, consider even a simple download link is hard to trust without at least providing some screenshots, let alone giving away our email!
Alright! Due to popular demand I added 2 screenshots to the top!
A bit more info for everyone who’s got strong feelings against mailing lists: My plan is to send out one mail every 1 or 2 months with making-of material and new infos about the game(s) I’m currently working on.
I’m hoping that this will bring “open development” to a more personal level. If you still think this is a bad idea, please let me know why! It’s an experiment and I’m willing to change whatever is necessary to make it work.
(My basic goals: Get the attention of people who might be interested in my games and let them have a look behind the scenes/make them feel like a part of the family, so that they’ll maybe end up telling their friends.)
Thanks everyone for the feedback so far! I’m thinking that adding a feedback form to the end of the beta was the right choice to protect my gentle soul, but might have been the wrong approach to find out what people who don’t get and/or like the game think… Then again, how could I get people who close the window before they reached the end to fill out a feedback form?
I’ll add a link to the top so people who don’t want to join my cool beta list can try it as well - but it’s their loss really! :]
